Goodbye!

Hello, my dear readers!💖

It is sad to tell you this but this will be my last post in this blog.

Since this post is my final post for my Instructional Technologies in Material Design course I want to talk about this course and what I did in this course. So, let's look at what I have done so far.

Before taking this course I actually had almost no idea about the integration of technology in English language teaching. I've learned many web pages, AI tools, educational apps and so much more to use in my future assignments and classes when I became a teacher. I also learned that all these tools have both good and bad sides. We can get help from them but they can sometimes make our tasks more challenging and the informations we collect from them might not be reliable.

In general, I didn't see this course and the tasks as something I am forced to take as some of my other courses. :( Instead, this was a great course that taught me lots of things that I can use in the future. With my own experiences with these technological tools and tasks, I hope that I can effectively teach and my students will not face with technological difficulties. It was also nice to work collaboratively on the tasks and it taught me many things as well. The only bad thing I can say about this course is the time limitation. I wish we had more time to complete the tasks, I am sure that I could manage to make better tasks if I had more time.

Throughout the course, we were assigned to do different tasks using the technology. They were, writing about 21st century learning, creating an infographic, podcasting, digital storytelling, collaborative writing, and using AI tasks. With these tasks, I developed many skills, improved my knowledge, got prepared for my future teachings, and learned about technology integration in English language teaching.

As, for my favorite task for this course, I can say it was podcasting. While completing the task I had a very nice time. It not only helped me to improve my technology and communication skills but it also gave me chance to talk and learn about my school friends' opinions on the question we asked to them. On the other hand, I think my least favorite task to complete was creating an infographic. With the collaborative tasks we have done throughout the course I realized that I actually do not like individual tasks. So, it was not fun for me to complete it.

That was all I wanted to say about the course.

Please, don't forget to make comments, I will be reading all of them.

It was nice to talk with you, I will miss you guys. 😞💔

I hope you enjoy reading, goodbye!
