Evil on the Internet:Cyberbullying
Hello, my dear readers!💖
Welcome back to another informational post. Today we will talk about cyberbullying, what is it and how can we prevent it.
For this week in our Instructional Technologies and Material Design course, we were supposed to create an informational infographic. We had four topic options and I wanted to talk about cyberbullying.
Cyberbullying can be defined as the act of embarrassing, hurting, mocking, threatening, or being rude to someone online through the use of computers, smartphones, or other linked devices.
For making this infographic I used Canva which is a tool for graphic designs. Since Canva had a separate part for infographic designs it wasn't a hard task for me to create it. But I couldn't easily decide which template should I use or which colors would be good together, so deciding these actually took most of my time. :)
In the English classroom, infographics can improve visual literacy through data analysis, simplify complicated ideas for easier understanding, stimulate critical thinking by assessing bias and credibility, encourage students to express themselves creatively when presenting information, and encourage group work to create visually stimulating content which improves learning outcomes.
Creating an infographic on a given topic provides educational benefits for students by promoting deeper understanding through research and synthesis of information. Students can also benefit from infographics as they provide visual aids that simplify complex language concepts, making them more accessible and engaging. It improves their comprehension skills while fostering creativity in presenting ideas visually. Furthermore, collaborative infographic projects promote teamwork and communication skills.
I hope you enjoy reading!
