It’s sad to tell you this but this will be my last post in this blog.
Since this post is my final post for my Current Issues in Teaching course I want to talk about this course and what I did in this course. So, let's look at what I have done so far. Before taking this course, I wasn’t very familiar with integrating technology into English language teaching. However, this semester has introduced me to a wide variety of tools and approaches such as AR/VR, AI, corpus-based materials, and the flipped classroom. I’ve learned not only how to use these tools but also about their strengths and weaknesses. While they can enhance learning, they also come with challenges, for example, the complexity of some tools like COCA.
In general, I didn’t see this course as an obligation or something I had to take. Instead, it was an interesting experience that taught me how to integrate creativity into my teaching in future. Collaborating with my friends who are Nisa Elmas, Bilge Dilara Doğan, Polat Öztürk on group tasks made it even more fun and helped me develop teamwork skills. The only bad side of the course was the limited time we had for some tasks. With more time, I’m confident I could have created even better materials.
Throughout the semester, I completed many creative tasks, including designing AR/VR-integrated materials, creating a corpus-based worksheet, developing a flipped classroom video, and integrating AI into teaching. Each task helped me develop new skills, improve my teaching knowledge, and prepare for my future teaching.
My favorite task was the AR/VR project. It was so much fun designing an interactive virtual tour to Rome, combining creativity with technology. On the other hand, my least favorite task was creating a corpus-based material. While I learned a lot from it, the technical challenges made it less fun to work with.
This course has been an incredible journey, and I’m so excited to use what I’ve learned in my future teaching. I hope my students will benefit from these various tools and approaches and have fun while learning. Thank you all for joining my journey.

  Hello, my dear readers!💖 Today we are going to talk about collaborative writing.  This week we were assigned to make a collaborative writing. I worked on this task with my friends Nisa Elmas and Bilge Dilara DoÄŸan. They also have blogs, so you can click here if you want to see Nisa's blog and here for Bilge's blog. We had two options for our writings, the first one was writing a film review and the second one was writing on a global issue. With Bilge and Nisa we decided to write a film review about the movie 'Shutter Island'.  In my opinion, Shutter Island is a masterpiece with its' every detail and it definitely is a must-see movie. We chose this movie because we all had watched it before and we wanted the choose a movie whose review might encourage readers to watch it. Hello, my dear readers!💖 It is sad to tell you this but this will be my last post in this blog.  Since this post is my final post for my Instructional Technologies in Material Design course I want to talk about this course and what I did in this course. So, let's look at what I have done so far.  Before taking this course I actually had almost no idea about the integration of technology in English language teaching. I've learned many web pages, AI tools, educational apps and so much more to use in my future assignments and classes when I became a teacher. I also learned that all these tools have both good and bad sides. We can get help from them but they can sometimes make our tasks more challenging and the informations we collect from them might not be reliable.  In general, I didn't see this course and the tasks as something I am forced to take as some of my other courses. :( Instead, this was a great course that taught me lots of things that I can use in the future.       Hello, my dear readers! 💖   It is nice to see you all again after a short break. 😊 Today we are going to talk about digital storytelling. What is it? Digital storytelling is a way of telling story which combines the art of storytelling with multimedia features such as photography, text, audio, voiceover, hypertext and video. Digital tools and software make it easy and convenient to create a digital story. This week, we were assigned to create a digital story for our Instructional Technologies and Material Design course.
